Hello,

I made a boo boo (apparently) by just deleting the Activision file containing Wizards and Warriors off my computer. I wanted to start the game from scratch, but now am stuck. When I try to run setup, I get the message that W&W has been detected on the system already installed, and if I want to reinstall I must first unistall the game. I then go to the menu and choose unistall but nothing happens. I've cleaned out my recycle bin, and turn off my computer, rebooted, etc. to no avail.

Please help...would very much like to start the game again, but don't know what to do at this point.

Hi Bunny!!

Open up your explorer and physically move to the area on your harddrive where you had installed W&W previously. You probably have a few files still kicking around in a directory there which uninstall does not delete. You have to manually delete these remaining files.

Hope that will solve your problem. If not, be sure to let us know and we'll find another solution!

Go to my computer, control panel, add/remove programs, then the find the game program and click add/remove. It should work. Make sure you reboot after though. Everything then should hopefully be deleted, if not, u should be able, or might be able to overwrite the data.

Unfortunatetly, will have to wait until work is over (what's up with that.) Once home though, I plan to tackle this again....hmmmm maybe I can go home early..I think I'm coming down with a case of W&W fever, or is that Boggie fever?

I had to go into the reg. and clean out all of the avtivision files. It's not that big of a deal. If I can do it any one can
I think you can find instruction on how to do this on either the activision
w&w support section or the tech help files on this board. I can't remember which
one.
