Skull Castle seems to be kickin my rear end at the moment. I am not sure where this room is in the castle, but there is a path to the front, to the left, and a passage that has a lock on it to the right. I think this room is to the east of the entrance room a little bit. My problem is I think i may have accidentally gotten rid of the key i need for it. Anyone know where i am talking about?

Is it the Vault gate? You have to get the dungeon key from G'Ezzered Ra to open it, if so.

The front part of Skull Castle "loops around" eventually, so you should end back up in the foyer, no matter whether you go west or east. To proceed further, you will need to go forward through the main gates which close behind you. There are other ways out, though...
