Please help! I've been trying for days to get through the water tunnel to get the Serpent Statue. I've tried jumping and changing my party order with a Ratkin in front. When I surface I can,t go further and I drown.
Is this a bug or am I missing something? Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!

Welcome to the board Dragon!

This is a very common problem from what I've heard (why it never happened to me, I don't know) and there are several threads on this topic. I'll bump one of them up for you. Or check the Best Tips. I believe there is something there about this. Good luck!

Yeah i must admit that i had a problem with this till i realised what was blocking me....

I had the same problem. It took me about 2 dozen tries before I got through. I don't know what I did the final time. The only thing I noticed is that for all the times I got stuck and drowned, there were monsters farther up the tunnel. The time I made it through, no monsters!

Just keep trying.

Did you managed to retrieve the Serpent figurine or did you managed without?

Tell us how your quest is going, you can't leave us hanging out there.

Never could get serpents statue but managed to work around using best tips.
Just FYI I managed to kill the Naga first try. I cast Armor Rhelm, Bless, Haste
and Heroic. Attacked face to face with melee weapons, Level 8 characters, never letting her cast any spells. When it was over everyone was poisoned and on there last hit points. There were no priests around to fight. Maybe I was just lucky. Worth a try though.

Glad you got past the Serpent figurine problem (I always use that best tip workaround too http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif )

Anyway, the Naga is not where all the serpent priests are, you'll find them a little later in that part of the Serpent Temple.
