Ok so there I was, out on my handy-dandy raft, floating in the middle of Nymph Lake. The day was warm, the breeze was lovely....

Then the strangest thing happened. Wulfgar mentioned that he sensed one of those darn toothy fish about....

We turned left and right, searching for the darned thing, but to no avail. Regis and Merlin were cowering at the back of the raft(portraits greyed out) and Bruenor was swinging that damn bastard sword around like it was a toothpick!

To our total hysteria, we finally glanced down at our feet and low and behold, one of those stupid fish had actually jumped onto the raft...all but offering himself up for lunch!

We obliged him straight away, made a most delicious meal of his carcass and proceeded on our journey. What a lovely day...ahhhh...

One of the things I really like about this game are the moments when you actually are surprised and have to stop and think before you react! I still remember my first encounter with the giant spiders around Ishad N'ha! Wow - like my heart almost stopped! hehehehe
(I won't even mention the Mantraps -lol)

I must admit the game has been a challenge!

I made it to the man traps, then decided I really goofed up leading them right up to the gates of the city. I created new characters, reset the game and am trying to be MUCH smarter this go'round.

BTW, Wyv...good luck on Monday!! We'll miss your cheerful presence!
