HI everyone !
W&W is a great game.I want play it again. In my first game i had (after Dragonspire) 6 "Rambos" and all had fire-or icestorm.Fighting was a little boring now.So i start again with this rules:
- only one warrior
- never use (gold)cheats
- never load when leveling up
- never buy skills (training)
- join guild only after role ascension (to join priestguild i must complete paladin training and so on)
- no dummy hero to storage items
- monster set "hard" and never changed
The beginning was a little hard, but then...
My hero lev10 paladin killed scabbans evil in close combat, then made lev12
ranger and lev6 bard and killed elyssa, when my hero was in monk training
i completet stout mines ... one character without armor, weapons and high level spells!!!
This game was more a challenge ,i use potion/scrolls i never use before.
But still it was easy.
Is there any way to edit files?I would like to make monster hitpoints x10
or level exp x10.Or can i do somthing else to make the game harder?

Finally a little stoy.In my first game,i enter the crypt and had a wizard lev5
or so with 22/22 hitpoints. He became very sick (zomies),and when i finish the crypt he had only 6/6 hitpoints. But then ,with the next level,he get 27 (!!!)
hitpoints.I never reload for more hitpoints. The party becomes more than enough!

Don't know about editing. There was Hex-edition experiment thread a few weeks back, I'll bump it for you. I don't think they've made any kind of progress but they can always use an extra hand.

If you want a real challenge, play with one character, same rules that you follow now, but with 2 added little lines:

1-First character created will be the adventurer (yep, even with 60 Attribute points)
2-If the character dies, do not reload, start over with a new adventurer.

It's crazy but it took me about 6 months to finish the game that way (it was my first playthrough so I didn't know where everything was).

Good luck and welcome to the board.
