when i get a quest from someone like the guy at the amory,i complete it.Then i go back and talk to him about it he just says "i have no quests at this time" or something like that.Iam i doing something wrong? thankx in advance

First, you don't have to talk to him for him to give you credit for the quest. Just click on the character that just completed the quest, sit back, relax, enjoy the speech, get your XP and gold.

One thing that you should keep in mind is that you only have 3 quests per guild per town. Also, if quest 1 has been completed by one character, usually that quest will not be available again (there are some exeptions of course).

So, let's say your fighter takes on the quest to get Mon Scultz. He kills him. Your barbarian, if he didn't get the quest at the same time, won't be able to get that quest because Mon Scultz is dead.
