How do I get Shinwiki's trap door open? Do I need to give him a "code word" or something? Nothing about the path or the door works!

I said that to Ekbu...you mean I have to also say it to Shinwiki (even though he already "recognized" me when I entered his room?

Yes, indeed, you have to say "Ukabu" again to Shinwiki for get the trap door open. Here are some more "code words" from the BEST TIPS thread, page 2 (Wyvern).

Here's a quick shortcut to NPC discussions:
