Mission accomplised and I'm ready to leave except I need a writ to leave and I don't have one. I had one going in. I don't know what happened to it. Can anyone tell me how to get out?

Check your inventory. Look for an unnamed ?scroll? , it should look differently from the spell scrolls. If you identify it, you'll find it's your Writ. It should be in the character's inventory who used it the first time.

but you'll find that it's looks a little different from other usual spell scrolls..... it looks like a worn-out rolled up message scroll (it's not E's Letter)

I found it. It was unmarked. Apparently Signuer Ossollio (sp?) will only accept the writ from the character who presented it on the way in. Apparantly I must have shuffled around my inventory. He wouldn't accept it from my fighter but accepted it from my rogue. I got out.
