I've been looking for this lever for hours now to open the iron gate.... I just can't find it... Can anyone tell me where this darn lever is please? Thanks a bunch

The lever to open the underwater grate leading from the Asylum to the flooded tombs is on the wall in Scabban's room. The lever to open the grate from the flooded tombs to the area near Rethpian is underwater on the left side of the northernmost narrow waterway (near the grate).
