I have now acquired the Assassin Dagger (Thx Wyv) and is there any way to keep the Dagger and become an Assassin. I hear regenerat works well for ppl that have cursed weapons. Is it worth it to keep it as a weapon?

Try passing the dagger to another character - think this might only work with the unpatched version.

I can always make you another! http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif

In my opinion, no. You can always get a Wizard's Dagger and bless/enchant it up more powerfully than the assassin's dagger. Why bother trying to keep it?

When you go into the pawnshop and you're asked to become an Assassin, before answering Yes or No, go into the character review of whoever has the dagger, and give it to another character. Leave character review and answer yes. Now you have the Assassin's Dagger and you're an assassin. You could also have that character enter the pawnshop and they could be an assassin too.... You can get 6 assassins! I personally think that's a little cheap myself so I haven't but I have nothing against someone else doing it... You can't pass it on in the patched version though.

Alicat, that's assuming he can find a Wizard's Blade. Remember I had to play FOUR GAMES before I found my first one! GRRRRRRRR.... well, I shouldn't complain, I found one in this game in the Crypt! (on the Spectral Warrior in the Wizard's path). I would think that was very rare, though!

After hitting Skull Castle, I couldn't keep the Wizard's Blades off of me. I kept finding them everywhere. However before that I never found a single wizard's blade.

You found one on the Spectral Warrior!!! Whoa, I didn't even think that was possible! Rare, I'd say!

Rare indeed, Jafin! http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...es/biggrin.gif

Actually, one other thing...the Assassin's Dagger is a 2nd weapon, whereas the Wizard's Blade is a primary weapon. In short, they can be used together for a deadly combination!

Ooooh, Assassin's Dagger AND Wizard's Blade! I've gotta try that! I think I'll spend some money on blessing too! Wonder if the Assassin's Dagger can be blessed...... Anybody know?

A lot of blue stars in this thread, LOL!

Yes, the Assassin's Dagger can be blessed up quite nicely. I don't remember that stats off-hand, but I think it is quite up there. I remember that I chose the Dssassin's Dagger blessed up over the Wakizashi +1 blessed up, so the totals must be close. I know I liked it for a coolness factor, too.

I believe the Assassin's Dagger does 5-20 points of damage without blessings so I suppose it could get quite powerful.
