how do i become an assasin.....i got the quest but dont know how to complete it (it says i must find grundel)is assasin really a good role

I like Assassin's - I had 6 of them at one stage (abused the dagger). Scanthril asks you to kill Raskallion in the lower stout mines - sometimes when ou go back for your reward, he fobs you off with finding Grundel - the corpse that has the Writ. If you have done these things, look for a response that lets you select the word REWARD - he will then give you the Assassin's dagger. You get the promotion by taking this to the thieves guild. If you want to keep the dagger - pass it to someone else while the pawnbroker is waffling on (assumes that you haven't installed the patch).

I seem to recall that after I came back to Scanthril (Raskallion gone and the burnt body found) he tried to send me off to the Boogre Cave. Using the keyword "JOB" got the quest back on track! http://www.tgeweb.com/cgi-bin/ubb/no...iles/smile.gif

How do you "abuse" the dagger?

Abuse - pass the dagger back and forth among the characters so that one dagger can qualify them all (I presume only guild members)as Assassin's - only works with the unpatched version.
