and what was the quest for the Vampers in Skull castle

Heart of the Dragon will give the character that invokes it 50% protection against fire.

You were looking for the Scroll of Banishment which would have been found way down below Skull Castle in the room with Mada Mabbig.

Hmmm...actually, the Heart of the Dragon gives the Dragonfire trait...an excellent trait to have! (Unlimited Dragon Breath spells).
