Spoiler
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | I killed the critters on the ship, returned most of the goodies (couldn't find the kid) and then talked to the chief. There didn't seem to be any polite way to turn her down, so I accepted her offer. (such a sweet guy Gildor Fairflight is). Killed her and got the map back. Well, I had the gang turn to werewolves in the tunnels, and ran away from them. I did not kill sleepers I found in the huts when I went on a werewolf hunt, so I was hoping it was my friends. I went back to Ulgoth's Beard, and killed the leader when he got shirty with me. Is there a way back to the Island to help my companions? |
IIRC - No.
If you've left them, then no. I think with TotSC introduced, it produced two definate ways to kill your party members and ruin (or be realistic) your game. 1) was as you describe, leaving your members on the Island. This is quite annoying! 2) |SPOILOR| | | | | | | | | If you get infected with Lycanthropy, and dawdle (without realising you have been infected),there is no time to get onto the ship and off the isle. This means you will always die, and there is no way around it. It's a bit annoying, and you've just got to hope to get away with it! |
hmmmm i didnt realise you actually did turn into WWs i assumed was just a plot thing, i never had that problem, maybe i shoulda stuck around to see what happens

As well the baby should be on the chief wearwolf of the ship. When it is on the floor however it can be quite difficult to see espicially if it is under many wearwolf corpes. I missed it my first time through but got it the second time.
Hmm! That is interesting about your party turning into wearwolfs I always thought it was part of a story nothing more as well. I wonder what would happen if you didn't kill the wear wolf leader right away. Could you get to terrorize Baulder's Gate at night with your party of wearwolves? |
It's happened to me.
SPOILOR - - - - - - - IIRC correctly, you DONT turn into one. But the other 5 members of your party do, then attack you. So, you die. |
This whole "party members becoming lycanthropes" is new to me, too.....and makes no sense. Sure, Kaishas infecting everyone with the trait is an interesting twist, but.....
1) How did she do it? Since nobody in the village ever bit any of my party members, and I never ate any food in the village, I'm at a loss to see how Kaishas could have infected us. 2) Why is it that *I* happen to be immune to the change, yet my party members are not? 3) When my party members change, why do they all decide to attack me? I just can't see Alora slavering with bloodlust as she lunges madly for my jugular vein.... 4) How is it that leaving the island will affect a complete and permanent cure? As I said, it's a nice idea, but it seems that it was very poorly implemented. A patch or MOD to prevent the Werewolf change entirely would not be amiss. |
theres plenty of possiblities if your party became wws, they wouldnt tear apart my main char though, he can take the whole party apart with ease but rp wise would be interesting, like a form really you can initiate when you want, see i alawyas had this problem with wws/vampires etc, in films and the like, when they are turned they instantly want to kill their old friends, what crap is that, if they are clever then they wouldnt have to suddenly slaughter everyone, very rare for a film or tv programme involving wws or vampires to have ones that turn and are just humans with a lust for blood, such as the film "dog soldiers" the woman in it is a werewolf all along and shes involved in intelligent discussion and has no desire to change with the full moon, right till the end, yet when the army guy turns into a ww hes immediately a threat, okay he might be a bit annoyed at the way they treated him but its a seemingly uncontrolled attack, yet again though in the basement the sergeant who does become a ww saves his mates life by attacking the other ww , its so inconsistent!!!!
so many films i could name with the same kind of inconsistences dusk till dawn is another one, one minute the vampires are all intelligent in the first fight, then in the 2nd they are slavering monsters with almost zero intelligence, hows that work and another example is john carpenters "vampires" ah well ill stop going on about it, but baldurs gate wws are another example in a long line of inconsistencies, if in the village the wws can talk to you without a problem then your party wouldnt suddenly attack the leader who is their friend just because they become wws |
I think the reason for # 2 above is, your half god, for some reason I think that may overpower the werewolf bug.
