Hi everyone, I traveled to the snake temple, had a little chat with Kol. But, I didn't get the key from him because I didn't know he gave it. Now I went back to talk to him some more and get the key but I can't find him anywhere. I've traveled all over tracking down the dots with spirit eye but no luck. Does anyone know of a place he goes afterwards? Or a way to make him spawn again? Or even how to pick the locks without the key? If I can't find a way I'm gonna be set back quite away because I was stupid and kept saving over the same file the last couple days.

Sorry, but you missed your chance with Kol. You'll see him again later in the game but he's out of reach 'til then.

You do have a few options though:

1- Keep playing: the key Kol gives you will allow you to retrieve 2-3 hanks and an amulet (nothing essential to finish the game)

2- Reload a save game prior to Kol. When you see him, ask him about "Key".

3- Ask Wyvern to "put" Kol's key in your inventory.

I guess I'll just reload prior then. It will only be an hour or so of catching up and that's not too bad. I will definitely be saving to more than one slot and more often from now on though. = ) Thanks for the help.
