Are you sure it's equipped? Try going a little closer to her without getting burned.

If not, leave the area and come back in.

If worst comes to worst, reload the last saved game and try it again...or Revert Game back to Valeia. (NOT Reset Adventures...it just takes you back to the last time you left town. Revert Game is available in any Town Inn.
