my 11 level assassin is getting pretty good, i CAN hit with the assassin dagger for up to 230hp but when i want to just use my dagger all he does is punch and kick!!! and my assassin killed Grude Mhor, whatever, and he is not getting credit for killing him.

another question...i just talked to okimire, the living tree, and i read some where that he is worth 11million exps. or so... so i saved my game and tried to kill him. i was not dieing but neither was he, i through everything i had at him and than 4 other trees popped up so i left.

Are you equipping a shield when you only want to use the dagger? If you are - that may be why he is kicking and punching.

Not certain why you are not getting credit for your quest.

no the dagger is in the second weapon holder and on the scroll it just says fight and when i click the up or down arrow on the scroll nothing happens

You need to have a dagger as your primary weapon (or another weapon in that place with the dagger as secondary). If your character has kung fu and the only weapon you have equipped is in the second weapon box, it will automatically default to kung fu kicking and hitting. By the way, most of us didn't know how to get the character to kick, found out only by accident. Congratulations.

MikeyG: you should be able to punch with one hand and use the dagger with the other.

But since you were asking about traits above, let me ask this:

do you have the Doublestrike trait and 2nd weapon skill yet?

If not, then that's your problem. You need to be at least 2nd or 3rd Warrior's Guild level to get them.
