The Ward is an amulet that's found in a random chest in the Lost Sea (west side of Anephas' shrine).

Have not yet found it; am on my way to its random location. Amtrying to do several other quests as well.

i didn't want to give it away but keep it for my monk as it gives excellent resistances to tons of the protections. Only give it away unless you need to advance in the ranks of the church.

I've always found it in the chest in the forested clearing due east of the Pyramid on the Isle of Sands. Look for it there first. Another place (allegedly) are next to the broken cart on the west side of the Lost Sea.

BlackAssassin: If you're not running the patch, you can keep the ward AND get credit for the quest: Simply hand it to another person as soon as Malakai recognizes you completed the quest.
