I remember doing some quests my 1st time though which I seem to have missed my 2nd time though (for example last time I remember being asked to get a magic book off of a mage). Can I get a list of quests anywhere? I used GameBanshee last time but now thats a pay site.

Baldur's Gate Unofficial Guide v1.3 definetly has all quests ( checked )...
Just skip the walkthrough bit,.. you'll find 'em after that
