Taking a conservative guess - how many rusty swords did you find in the game?

How many have I found? A couple of hundred I guess.

How many does it FEEL like I've found? Egad I can't count that high.

Here's a question... why does it take an identify skill to notice a sword is rusty? I'd have thought that would be obvious even to the most uneducated barbarian.

More than I probably counted, because after a while I didn't pick anything up except potions and things that I could tell weren't the standard swords! LOL

On my first play through...conservatively, close to 80 or 90. *sigh*

Gosh Wyv.....must have found close to 100...since I spent a lot of time stocking up skeletons and collecting skulls for money.

I just thought it would be interesting if we started adding up everyone's "conservative" guesses. Of course, we all saw way too many of them and even Shinwiki's interview with (cough) D.W. doesn't quite satisfy why we remain so unable to recognize a rusty sword when we see one! lol!!

How long do you think a rusty sword is and based upon that estimation, how many rusty swords would it take to :

1) Circle the earth?

2) Reach the moon?

1) How long is a rusty sword? ANSWER: Longer than the rust!

2) How many rusty swords would it take to circle the Earth? Answer: Only one, but it would have to have a lot of rust!

3) How many rusty swords would it take to reach the Moon? Answer: Only one, but it better have good rocket boosters!

My conservative guess would be around a hundred or more. Felt like thousands! LOL!

How long is a rusty sword? Too long to carry back to town for the money they are worth!

How many rusty swords would it take to circle the earth? Only two...playing "leapsword" ; )

How many rusty swords would it take to reach the moon? None. They would break and fall back to earth before they ever reached it!
