You can still carry your stuff, but nothing can be equipped. No armour, no weapons. The best thing to do is to start at sun rise and watch the sun to tell when two days and nights have gone. If you go back to town to check save first so you can restore in case it is too soon.

take it off, take it all off!
set your spawn frequency to low and wait outside of the gates for two days (4-8 hours of real time depending)

I sat out side for 2 1/2 days <game time> 5 hours real time
have game sitting at hights I can Love to fight bear handed
Now I have two monks and am heading for the Dragon Spear
