OK, I feel really stupid, but how do you get the bartender to sell you some brew? I've tried all the talk options, including "trade". I've also tried "giving" him 5 gold.

GIVE 5 gold should have worked (you've really choosen the GIVE screen, not the USE screen and also scrolled through your inventory to the bag with the 5 gold pieces??) You are also TARGETing the barkeep (control cursor)??

If Give doesn't work, try USE (but give really ought to work)

If my memory works still the Give choice works (I paid 300 golds for that beer http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...iles/smile.gif.

You'll also need to "DIVVY" the gold out in the screen by right-clicking on the bag and selecting "Divvy"...that is, unless you want to give him ALL your gold for a Boogre Brew...
