I got loaded down with good stuff to sell the Sh. Castle. I ran past the Mantraps and only one died. When I can back of the town to return to the castle, I had two mantraps standing outside the gates. I'm in big trouble. Any thoughts?

Do you have time to climb to the top of the city gates before they waste you?
Do you have a saved game from shortly before you lead them back to town?
Do you have a FREEZE spell? or a summon some sort of creature spell??

I'm going to pull up some threads on Mantraps - hopefully you will find a useful solution to your immediate problem.

Thank you. I don't have Freeze yet, but I have a caster capable of learning the spell. Perhaps I could buy it. I feel silly to ask, but how does one climb up the gates to the city?

Get to the edge of the gate, look up and do the forward and jump (number pad 0 ) and HOPE LIKE HECK!! http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...iles/smile.gif
