Im stuck in the last room where im supposed to use the sticks to make the steps come out...i put in a stick and a step came out that was half way above the ground...then across from that i put in another stick and steps come out that look like they lead to a slot just above to put in another stick but it doesnt come far enough out for me to climb...did i forget to do something?

You have to jump. Use "Shift" + "0" on the keypad. That should get you up there.

Another hint to jumping...when you jump, be looking up, you really get more distance!

don't forget to investigate the other path out of the caves at the top of that wooden stickholes room. as you get to whack out the cyclops and complete a warrior's quest plus get magic lamp and two treasure boxes.

I know that this may be obvious, but sometimes we forget the obvious.

There are four wooden sticks that you can find in Boogre Prison. You can get out with just three, but I find that all four makes it easier. Getting out with just two might be a bit difficult, tho.

The four sticks are:
1. In a chest at the end of the gauntlet.
2. In a chest inside one of the cells near Grunaxe.
3. In a chest inside the teleport/confusing rooms.
4. On the hag.

If your athletics skill is high enough, sometimes you can just jump on up to either ledge without using the wormsticks. My characters have been able to do this in the last 2 playthroughs. Just look up at a 40 degree angle and take a running leap at the wall where the doors are.
