Noticed how some of those baddies like the rogues and ratlings get to use a shield AND a bow?
Dumdees don't count

I don't think they use them at the same time. Bow when they are far, shield in ahand-to-hand.

I have noticed this...they switch from bow to sword & shield but only if they have time before you kill them. Sometimes, you get to pick up both when they are dead.

Look at the Ironworks logo at the top of the page. That troll has a bow AND a shield.

I noticed when I steal from the rogue, I wound up with a club.

why would they carry clubs if they don't use it?
