because I am done with it and have gotten the signet of the mavin from the knights ghost and have nowhere else to turn when I try to go back to the pier at the old crypt there is no exit, how do I leave this cursed place?

Go back to the mummy room and ride the top of the lift to the secret room and exit by the Statue of Kerah!

First make sure you go to the other rooms on the water circle thing to get all the goodies. then swim down to the grate there is a lever on the wall open the grate and you will be back to where you gave the rat pie away. then all you have to do is go back to where you talked to the statue but dont go through the door that the statue opens use the other one and you will find your way out. hope this helps.
