Anyone knpw what levers to pull down to open the gate to the 2 chest in basement the one with lots of gargoyle levers .

You have to get all of the chains to be down. When facing the grate the one you see on your left is the last one you pull. Move from it clock-wise pulling each one that is up until you come around to the last one. Look around and if any of them are up again go around pulling them again, this time counter-clock-wise. This worked for me.

The trick here is to get all the levers in the down position -

The best way I have found to do this is first locate the one lever that when you pull it down it immediately goes back up (about 11:00 as you are facing the vault). Work your way around the room clockwise pulling down each lever until you get back to the 11:00 - leave it alone, go counter clockwise and pull down any levers that went back up from the first pass, continue until you get back to the 11:00 - leave it alone - check to see if any have gone back up, pull them down - they should all remain down - NOW pull the chain on the 11:00 and you're in!
