Stuck in Toad village
can't climb the stairs
please help

Some stairs can only be approached from one side. In toad village IIRC you have to walk past the ladder, trun around, and face it from the other side. Then look up, and go forward. I personally hate ladders the way they are done in this game, but with a little patience you can climb up. Going down is another story. if you look closely at the ladder youll see grey spots (nail heads) on one side of the ladder, thats the side you can climb up on...

Is there ANY way to climb DOWN the latters? I always have to jump resulting in small damage. Very annoying http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...iles/frown.gif

Fall and splat is the most commonly used method of going "down" ladders.

Some folks have worked out techniques that work most of the time but these generally require extensive experience at trying to climb down ladders and can be time consuming.
