I'm finally in Brimloch Roon and the Boatwright said if I bring him 3 shells he will give me 200 gold pieces. I thought he was supposed to make breathing helmets. Do I need to trigger something first? Please respond.

He'll make the breathers from the conch shells that you bring in. It takes a while though.

You need both breathers (look like conch shells) and breathing helms to get them to work.

Does it take a while? I don't recall there being much of a wait at all for him to make the helms and breathers.

He never made any new helms for me, and the breathers are massive, they take up soo much pack space as to seriously impair you're treasure gathering facilities http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...iles/frown.gif I'm starting to get fed up of waiting for him to finish some new helmets as I've just bothered to finish the Tomb of Anephas and my Warlock needs to level up to get the Call of Home spell so my packs have been full for ages.Oh well, back to work.

Wow, I've never had any problems with him making helms or breathers either one. Sometimes, if you're lucky, he'll make a double pair of breathers off of one haul. http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...iles/smile.gif
Best thing to do is bring back the 3 shells every time you get them, and turn them in even if you're not ready to purchase...Buckley will keep on making them. -Sazerac |
I`ve been trying for days now to get the crabs, in order to make breather masks, but no crabs, (I migth have to visit the local fish market). The point is that I need the magic tablets and can not go under water. Does anybody have any seafood lying around?
PS; I`ll pay top dollar. |
I got some prawn shells http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...miles/wink.gif

Galic: turn your spawn rate to "Frequent" and then swim (or sail) around and around Skull Island. Crabs usually respawn there fairly frequently. It helps to have a character up in "Scout" skill to tell you when they're there.
