I gave the gypsy lady the Serpent Wand in order to receive the Orb of Clarity,
unaware that I needed the Wand to enter the Snake Head Door. I tried to use
the TRADE option to buy it back from the gypsy, but that didn't work. I guess
I'll have to restart unless anyone might have a suggestion or solution to this
problem! Thank you!

You might have your rogue attempt to steal it back - it may require repeated attempts and an increase in his/her pickpocketing skill.

Thanks for the tip, Xignal.

I tried to pickpocket Harespia, and she sent her little gypsy
friends after me. After I killed them, I took out Harespia too.
Upon doing so I got the Wand back! I hope this won't cause any
problems later in the game.

You could always resort to killing her for it to but be prepared to feel like the bad guy...she does not fight back
