What am I doing wrong? I'm standing here morosely at the bottom of one of the ladders in the toad village, and I need to climb up it. I've tried numerous things but nothing seems to work. I've tried looking up the ladder and pressing forward, I've tried the 0 key for jumping, jumped and pushed foward, but nothing seems to do it. Please help! This is driving me nuts.

have you tried to go on the other side of the ladder???.

if it don't work try use crates to climb

note that this place is totally optionnal so......

Do your characeters have any athletics skills?
I had problems with low level athletic skills and trying to climb ladders.
I still use the fall and splat method to get down them.

Thanks so much! I can't believe it was as simple as being on the wrong side of the ladder - I feel so blonde. Actually, I find the graphics so hard to see (man, i'ts DARK) that I didn't notice one side of a ladder looked different from the other. Now if only I could get DOWN the dang things.
