Hi folks! I have two of these but none of my charachters can use this weapon ?????? what gives ??

Thats one of the things i found annoying about this game, There were no really cool axes or bows found by me until i reached cets tomb so i was glad all my fighters had specialised with sword and staff. The best axe i saw before i found the devils axe in cets was a side axe +1.

The Axe of Runes and Stones can be equipped as a second weapon...but only warrior-types may use it. http://www.tgeweb.com/ironworks/cgi-...iles/frown.gif I agree with FanPyre, there's a bit too much emphasis on "sword" to the exclusion of other weapons. The only other ones worth developing are Staves and Daggers.

Someone ignored the fact that a curved blade makes a deeper incision (especially when mounted on a good haft for that top heavy effect). Also blunt weapons have incredible stunning and bone breaking power and should not be overlooked. I have posted about this continualy on this forum (two or three times at least) and am considering searching out my previous posts and bringing them right back up to the top.
