Since I have a healthy primal fear of big ugly spiders. The quality of the graphics in this game has produced very realistic spiders in form and motion.More than once I have turned around and found myself facing one or more of them and found myself startled. I think the only times I jumped were when Elyssia called us Murderers before she and her friends killed us all and I had toi restart and thwap her from a distance! ; )

After that, it was in Collasium, when the pillars fell. These got me twice in two play throughs of the area, lol! Even expecting them, it still startled me! Ah, the feeling of what it is to be alive!

lmao...so im not the only one that has jumped, I didn't suffer this from the spiders but from the wretched worgurs. There I would be in the middle of night nothing much going on, I'd be watching tv with one eye on the game (while waiting for morning) and all of a sudden a worgur would be hacking at my ankles making me jump about an inch straight up in the air. It certainly wakes you up and gets your attention back on the game.

Just to add I used to keep tarantulas so I like spiders and the spider graphics are very good in the game, one of the things that got my interest in it so much.

Spider - yes LOL - big jump. I had been in and out of the serpent temple quite a few times (as one does when one was getting badly poisoned, and one still hadn't found his 4th monkey idol). Hadn't twigged that there was a switch for the front door, so had to keep using the back one. Anyway, I am running flat chat back up the big windy ramps to where you first meet Krueg. I am about half way up, tearing around a corner and splat - big hairy ugly angry spider - lands right on the face - heart goes kathump (silence), small vertical clearance from seat, and sharp intake of breath. No fair, he caught me with my gaurd down.
