Boy I think I messed up. I walked away from the npc Out side the snake temple before He gave me the key.Went in back way to temple and did most of it. Now he is gone!! Where is he or will he come back?Hiw can I get the key?. Thxs for any help.

THe key you miss opens a room with the Statue of Kerah inside - if I remember correctly, the only important item to be found in that room is one of the four books that are needed to become a Zenmaster. You can (I did my first game) miss it completely and still complete the game.

Otherwise you can try revert - and do the Temple over again (not a favorite idea, eh?)

The Zenmaster book isn't the only valuable thing in there. There are plenty of Ankhs in there also.
