Hello, I considering using the patch for my game. It has a habit of crashing to desktop after playing awhile. I've already re-installed the game four times. After re-installing I can usually finish a dungeon before having problems. I am now in boogre prison and my game is freezing. It last froze when I was in the crypt. I really enjoy this game and would like to complete it. Should I install the patch? If so, what's the website? Thank you, Mike.

Mike, I installed the patch and have not had any problems. Go to the top of the page and search for "patch" and you should come up with some direct links to the patch. I hope it works out for you. Good luck and God speed to you and your party.

I'm always hesitant to install new games before I:

Run scandisk and defrag.
Have lot's of free disk space.
Have lots of Virtual Memory space avail. (This game recommends to let Windows handle if you have 512MB for the swap file.)

I have not had any problems with this game so far but I'm just arriving at Ishad. I did install the patch too. So if you have not done this maintenance for a while, you might try it. I know it has helped me in past games...

What video card, sound card and operating system are you using, Mike? And is your swap space large enough (or free harddisk space if dynamic swapfile)? (You need a few 100 Megs.)

I'm pretty much a computer idiot. I still remember using BASIC on apple. We have a HP pentiumIII with 128RAM and windows M.E. I just installed the patch and was wondering how it works. I couldn't find the file but it seemed to have installed o.k. Do I need to load a special file before I play? I already loaded a saved game and it didn't freeze. Maybe it's already working. Thanks for your assistance.
