What does the Magic Lamp do? Also, I have found enough Conchs to create five breathers. Now whenever I kill a crab they do not dorp a shell. Are there only five allowed in the game?

In a nutshell, have 1 party member use the lamp on another and see what happens.

As far as the shells, some crabs drop them and some don't, try to pickpocket the crabs before you kill it, you can steal them sometimes!
