Hallo all I am new to this board but not to this game. I played BG1,TOSC and BG2 until my wife threatened me with a Divorce. These are the best Games I've found out For Role playing. Anyhow I would like to ask if anyone knows what Exactly the Patches fix in the Games. As I am replaying TOSC I was wondering what a Patch could fix? ( except maybe load times which is my slow computer ) Any info on this would be appreciated. Thanks OLAF

Just a few general glitches, nothing major. BG2 is a different story, without the latest patch its unplayable on windows XP and not entirely stable on anything else.

The baldurdash fixpacks are also generaly considered indispensible for Bg2. http://members.rogers.com/mrkevvy . I dont know much about the Bg1 fixpack though, never used it.

BUT - then you have kids (boys) and then they demand that their parents help them with their PC games. Their mother has long time ago decided that she will not 'waste' any of her time on such a 'waste of time'. That leaves only one option: Their 'poor' father must help them with playing games like BG and HoM&M3. Now my wife had even begun to answer some questions about how to start up the games and how to save and exit and so on [img]smile.gif[/img]

well im not married nor intending to ever [img]tongue.gif[/img] but my girlfriend is enough problems, she doesnt seem to take my scheduled quake3 matches seriously, annoying thing is if i was playing football matches in sunday league for no cash she'd accept it, but cos its a computer theres an instant stigma :(
