After awakining the Amazoni Maneaters outside Shurugeon Castle and running by them I had a hell of a time trying to get by them again. Finally frantically running away from them I ended up at the ruined house where Scanthrill is.

Standing on the pile of debris in the corner by the door I found the Maneaters could not get into the building nor appearently see you well enough to breathe poison. Yet you can hack away at them as the graphic moves through the wall. Killed all of them this way, yeah it's probably cheating but then a pack of 20th level mosters when you are nowhere near capable of handling them otherwise is pretty unfair. I consistantly had to use my life scrolls even running by them.

To start you off, they are Amozoni Mantraps. A good hint to kill them, if you have a Wizard/Warlock/Priest just shoot them with the magic, whenever they get close enough, RUN AWAY!! Use this technique, and it's "Easy Pickin'".
