Does anybody know how to catch this accursed Leprechaun? I chased it for a time then gave it up...

You won't have to catch him, but when you are in Anephas' shrine and you meet Kerah, you can leave her room through the water and find his treasure on a small portion of land. Within one of the the chests is an item to prove his existence.
