I have seen a post on how to disable the start up icons in lower right corner of computer, and I am not able to find it again. I had to reboot my entire system and want to ditch these items that are just taking up space. When I Ctrl Alt Delete there only used to be 2 programs that needed to still run. these are the programs that start up in the bottom right corner of window's right next to the time clock. If anyone can help with this please respond

If I understand your question right the only 2 files required to run the operating system that you need visible when you hit Ctrl + Alt + Del are:
Systray Explorer The others are not necessary... Hope this helps. |
That is correct, but I am tryint to figure out how to get rid of the other programs that are running. That way when I start up my computer, I don't have to manually do it everytime :L)

If you're using Win 98.
Click: 1) Start 2) Choose Run 3) Type in msconfig and click ok 4) Click selective startup and unclick Load startup group items. You can also go to the Startup Tab and unclick all the undesired entries. Hope this helps. Mark |
