I finally figured it!!!

well not totally by myself, actually due to another post waaaayy back, that had a link to another hint site, after pulling the lever you have to swim up from that exact point, which i wasn't doing, i was turning around swimming back to the north and then going up. Sure glad this forum is here, i would still be pullin my hair out and cussin the game.

HEEEEELLLLLLPPPPP!!!!

I am really hoping someone out there can help me. I have read the castle walk through that is in the walkthrough area, and even looked at the pictures...however, so far I am still stuck. I swam down the hole, and flipped the lever, but when I swim back up i am still within the area that I could reach prior to flipping the lever. The only difference is that the grate is lifted and I can swim up and out there, but that is before the area where I swam down to flip the lever. I can't seem to be able to get back to the area where the ruined wall is. I am hoping that someone out there can offer some much needed help. This is driving me nuts.
