I got the lich's key from the female vamp but it wont let me open the vault near G'Ez Ra's chamber. that is the one its supposed to open right?

No, the key from Andrianna is supposed to open a vault way down under the castle.

It has mysteriously disappeared since the guidebook was written. No one has been able to find it (that I know of).
