I have spoken with the lich. I am looking for the artifact. I have gotten into his study and I have opened the stained glass door that needs to be picked. I think I have gone in every doo in the place, but I can't open the 2nd door in the study. There is no apparent switch or lock. Can anyone help me open this, or more to the point where is the artifact I am supposed to find for the lich. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Lots to do still if you haven't done the hanging bridges! The Artifact is in a chest in a room with a lava floor...I'll push the thread with the link to the walkthrough up to the top for ya

A hint in case you don't immediately want to look at the walkthrough: the door (gate really) to the vault is close to the entrance of skull castle, on the other side of the one-way gate.
The door between hte lich and his treasure room opens all by itself later on.

The gate down to the vault is actually amost directly under the entrance. From the entrance go right until you reach some stairs, follow them down and you'll come across the gate on your left hand side.
