I am new to this game and have some questions please. I have found some special items like ankhs and spider eggs. Do I need these for anything or should I sell them? Also, can I find a book to add to my spellbook for cure poison. I keep getting poisoned and am spending all my money getting cured. One more, can I drop items that I have already used or will I need them later like keys, bauble stick, wizards crystal ect... I have already finished these quests. Thank you in advance.

Drop the bauble stick and crystal - the game's dungeonsweeper never removes any quest items - dump these two,and items like them just outside a town gate. Ankhs - don't waste good money identifying them - best bet is to save game, and have someone invoke it. That will tell you what attribute (strenght intellect etc) that it increases. If there is a character that you would have preferred to have that attribute, then reload, and have the new character do the invoking (right click in inventory screen). Spider eggs have no value if you sell them anyway. They are useful for the Warlock quest (required item), and are used in the press device in the torture rooms to make spider nectar (you can make more of them than you need - they then act as heal poison potions. If you are getting poisoned a lot, then you are in the Serpent Temple perhaps . Keep an eye on what is required to get a priest up to level 4 in vine magic so you can get this spell. Train your priest at the temple guild every time he gains a level.
