Ok, I switched both levers in the down position, door still closes, tried bring in a treasure chest to put on the mystic fire, still, the door closes, tried running to, jumping to, running and jumping to the door, but still, it closes! what am I doing wrong??

The way I did it was to push (not carry), while
running, a chest under the door - it is then stuck
partly open and you can get through. This took
several tries. I never got any of the lever
solutions to work. Push something by walking/
running directly at it. Run by using the shift key.
I think this puzzle is way to hard for so early in
the game, plus things just don't seem to work for
some people, while others have no trouble. Why?
