I've been stuck in the crypt puzzle for 2-3hrs trying to figure out how the Warrior Room works in opening the portcullis. I've tried both methods recommended on the quest list from Activision. I tried walking backwards from the healing fire and then tried flipping the switches while avoiding the healing fire and walking around the edges. Am I supposed to jump over the fires or is there a specific combo the switches have to be in. When I throw the switches they are both in the down position. Please help if you can.

The treasure chest in the nearby room; run with it through the fires and it should stop the portcullis, allowing you to pass through.

Another trick that usually works: Get a running start, and just as you pass through the middle fire JUMP -- play with the angle, usually looking up at about 45 degrees gives the farthest jump -- and you should roll through the portcullis as it drops.
