I spent a game day (24 hrs) searching near the Nypmh Lake (didn't mind looking at the Nymphs though) for this troll I'm supposed to catch/kill. I got the quest from the town hall dude in Valeia and it's to capture/kill a troll who begs for money and when the purse comes out he stabs them and runs off with the money.

My question is, where is this troll and what must be already accomplished before I can find him (if anything)?

A lil help here please... and yes I'm both in the crpyt and near the Nypmh Lake. I'm just special that way .

Looking at the map that comes with the game - there is a path that comes out to the river above Nymph Lake (the one furtherest up the river). just before the river there is a branch off to the North, with a couple of small islands of trees -in and around there. If your still having trouble, do what I did - cast Spirit eye, and look for reasonably static red dots (the butterflies and rats and things tend to move about a lot).

I kinda... sorta... thought I looked where your talking about but I'll check around there again, thanks for the hint. And about that spirit eye? I'm playing without a priest as I think I've said. Five omphavian wizards and one gnomish rogue. Spirit eye, ressurection, and healing, ALMOST makes it seem worth it to trade in a wizard for, but not quite. Hmm...
