Someone pretty please tell me the absolute easiest quests (other than the not-even-worth-it-50-experience-points quests in Candlekeep) to complete with a level 1 party! I can't fight hardly ANYTHING without getting absolutely KILLED!

I've played through this game once almost to the end and I remember spending HOURS UPON HOURS wandering around barely getting anywhere raising my characters levels!

It should be REALLY EASY to find these quests but I can't! I've checked Mike's RPG Center, The gate house AND planetbaldur's gate and none of them have been the least bit helpful....

You should do the quests in Candlekeep - every bit of xp helps. Otherwise I'd say Begegost and Friendly Arms Inn:

Beregost: 900 xp for avoiding fight in Feldepost inn
buy book the innkeeper - take across the street to the elf for ?xp, +1 rep
kill silke - 900 xp (easier if imoen has wand of magic missile)
kill spiders in house (south) - deliver 3 items to gnome on 2nd floor in FAI (3*xp)
kill two ogrillions on map south of beregost and taken note from dead halfling to Marianne in house (east) for ?xp, ring +1

FAI:
kill hobgoblins arund the inn and deliver ring to woman in room just inside the gates
delives items to gnome (see above)

these are just for starters - there are other (harder) quests in Beregost

Heres a good strategy. Go to Larswood I believe, get to where the druids are at. First, sneak around the back of the camp, and get the one who attacks you first to come to you from the back, where the other person can't get you. Kill him, then confront the other guy. Be careful to kill him, and kill the 2 bears for a sh*tload of XP. It may be hard, but with a good dose of arrows, it can be easy.

the key to quests is talk to everyone in a town that you can find most towns have about 10 quests to work on and whilst your doing those you will come across other quests on the way anyhows, if you really want to exp whore quickly then the thing to do is go to ulcaster and find the place where dire wolves and the vampiric one spawn keep going in and out, you need to get a bit of distance from it then come back in and they respawn i find them pretty easy kills and each dread wolf is 650 dire wolves 120 and the vampiric is 2000 as they respawn almost as soon as they leave your line of sight its quick easy kills over n over, not sure why they keep respawning like this and it might only happen at night or with more regularity but works for me.

Erm thanks all, but I sorta found my way around with quests and such...just didn't know there were THAT many quests in beregost heh...

Now that infinite spawn thing in ulcaster sounds good, haven't been down into that dungeon yet...
