I try at bar in boogre prison to get brew but can't

I tried
Talk, Trade, Giving gold [5 mil-he says it isnt enuff], stealing[got club], giving back club I stole
Barkeep talks about shiny things and wonder if he means tokens from serpent temple [didn't have any to try]

Any ideas?

Strange. I used my right mouse button on the money in the inventory to 'divvy' the money into one stack of 5 coins and one with the rest. Giving the set of five got me a nice cask of brew. Hips.
Lucky for you, you don't need the brew for the story, but you can get some nice extras for it somewhere in the boogre caves, and it is a backup for entering the stout mines.

Carg is right, create your parcel of five and give that to the bar-keep (yes, you have to initiate the sale). I seem to recall you can give more if you want - but you still only get one cask.
