Are there any mods for BG?

There is Dark Side of the Sword Coast. It is done by a few of the original desighners of BG, they go by TeamBG. I just started playing it myself and so far so good, but I haven't gotten to the new quests or areas yet. Check out DSOTSC.com for all the info you need. I think there are third party mods out there, but you are going to have to do the research on those as I know nothing about them.

Actually, I heard that the official Tales of the Sword Coast was absolutely required in order to install Dark Side of the Sword Coast. That's why it has the words "Sword Coast" in the title.
