I guess you can use the key to open a hidden room behind a wall in the serpent temple. There wll talk a statue of kerah to you. You will also find a few ankhs I think...

Specifically there is a room that has chute that the narrator says is too small for you to go down. And I believe a lever that sends you monkeys. If you step out of this room and cast spirit eye you will notice a key hole on the wall in the hall. I believe we should rename that key . . . I like your name.
